Ice-Cream Cake..
Celebrated Serene’s birthday yesterday with the 14 of us. Lessons were as usual during the day but we went over to Citylink to have a big and nice meal at NewYorkNewYork.
I guess Serene was surprised by the arrangement. Bought the cake, time coordination and also contacting with one another. Everyone came by around 7. Ordered the food and everyone was laughing, enjoying the company of each other.
She was in all smiles the whole dinner session!
JY, the joker was cracking jokes the whole night long, never fails to make the world smiles and laugh it out. Was pretty tired though due to school in the morning but still in high spirits with everyone around.
Everyone headed home soon after, due to the fact that all of us had school the next day and a test! I guess many of us went back home and studied! Though it’s a short dinner, I guess everyone was pleased and the birthday girl was happy!
P.S. The ice-cream cake was very nice!
Cheers.
Absurd?
Sometimes,
it’s hard not to believe,
that the world is changing.
Earth,
things,
especially,
we humans ourselves.
Sometimes,
it just gets so absurd.
I could only shake my head,
and,
walk on.
Weekend Gone Again..
When things just get so busy and packed, without knowing, the days were over and a new week is approaching. It’s always been this case I guess, sadly so. We didn’t even have enough time to stop and even take a quick look. Activity after activity, it just flew by. However, many would have argued that it’s about time management and I do agree on that.
Classicals lessons has been conducted for a week and I’m beginning to be used to it. Though many of the students are already having their holidays, I was not really bothered by it. I believe everyone will have their turn.
Went to Auntie’s house on Saturday’s evening as it’s one of my cousin’s birthday. The whole family came and it’s great to be with all of them. We will be having a chalet at the end of the year which I’m really looking forward to. I managed to take a picture which made me smile.
2 of my cousins playing mahjong with one another. If I’m not wrong, they are in primary 2 this year? Pretty interesting and I wonder whether do they really know how to play. I believe they do after I went over to check. That’s my grandparents in the background.
My face went for some changes and it’s now recovering. Still, I have to take note of my diet and eat medicine everyday. Hope everything goes well and it would recover pretty fast. Thanks for everyone’s concern for those who know.
The cycle goes again.
Cheers,
Classicals..
A new change in the normal routine from the past few weeks. Back to the studies, notes and lectures. Classicals for a month including tests and projects to be done. Today was the first lesson.
For a start, it was not too bad. Though it’s quite boring at times, but I guess it’s part of lecture and I’ve experienced all these boredom during my year 1. The usual people from attachment were in the same class and 3 hours were fast over. School was rather empty due to examinations for the rest. It’s peaceful though.
I’m in my cold room now, with air-con blowing downwards. Listening to 98.7 radio, enjoying the DJs’ coversations and of course music played. I’m always impressed by the DJs’ reactions and the way they interact with callers. Sometimes, really wonder how they do it, but they just can do it so easily.
It’s never easy to lead people. There are times, I doubt myself, whether I’m a good leader. I do not know how, but as people around me would know, I have been a leader since young. Over the years, I’m fortunate enough to have many opportunities to lead people on. However, I felt that when things didn’t turn out the right way, I play a big part of what went wrong. Decision-making is a very difficult process. I can’t ensure everyone’s happy and there are so many factors in making one. I really hope, the decisions I make would be the right ones, at least to a certain extent.
I’m wearing my retainers and it’s so uncomfortable. Could feel the tightness on my teeth and I’m waiting for the day when I can remove all of these. A day which I see my teeth everyday white and straight. Retainers suck for now.
I do get bored sometimes, can’t I?

Last Day In BSU & Attachment – 17 June 2007
18 weeks flew by,
2 stopovers,
Friendships formed.
Yes, Friday, 17 June 2007 marks the end of my 18 weeks of attachment in school. 1st was in MSC and the 2nd was in BSU. 9 weeks each and I’m sure that this period of time is one of the best I’ve ever experienced ever since I entered polytechnic.
Learnt plenty in BSU and it’s interesting to do mystery shopping. (The first few times only.
) Have a great supervisor and Team 1 is a fun group of people as well. I will definitely miss the room we always been, miss the games we played during the 9 weeks. *Puzzle Fighter, Counter-strike* Met different types of people and of course, made many great friends along the way.
BSU TEAM 1 Room, I will miss this room!

HumanLink Room. The place we sign in and out and some fun in there!

Some photos we taken!
Myself & Johnson

Myself, Sho, LayLing, MeiYing & Mr Tan.
As usual, the whole group of us went out on Friday after our last day of “work.” Went to central to have a quick dinner and went over to JY’s “shop” to have some ice-cream!
Of course, Cailing’s birthday was on the 18th and we celebrated for her as well.
Managed to catch some fireworks along the way and it’s beautiful, awesome!
The rest from EMRS came over and all of us went to EskiBar and it’s not a bad place for people to chill. I guess it’s chilled enough there! Had so much fun there! Played guessing games! From all our faces, I can sense that everyone was really happy, enjoying each other’s company which I truly thinks it’s the most important.
It have been a great 18 weeks. I will definitely miss the times we had fun, played games, our outings and it’s really a blessing to know every single one of them.
Thank you guys!
Cheers,
Report Writing..
As my second stopover is coming an end, reports are to be done and submitted on the last week of the whole attachment. Rushed out the reports on Sunday and managed to pass it up on the next morning. It’s a bit of a rush and I know I shouldn’t have left it till the last minute. The quality would be different if I’ve prepared much earlier. Nevertheless, I have put in the best for the night.
Report writing is never an easy task because it needs lots of time, effort and for me, brain juices. I took much time thinking, rephrasing, surfing dictionary.com and putting my thoughts into words uses so much brain juices that I was so exhausted after writing everything. Probably it’s due to the fact that I’ve not been doing such reports as much as before. Looks like I have to work harder for this aspect for the upcoming weeks. More brain juices!
Take a look at my table. During & After. (Though it does not seems much of a difference, but it does for me.)
I’ve always want my room to be neat and tidy!
Oh yes, that day, we celebrated WanTing’s birthday for her in school.
Sorry that it’s a bit late.
Left with 3 more days in BSU, hopefully things would end on a high. For those friends who are preparing for exams, Jiayou and lots of luck in your exams, I know it’s coming very soon.
I think it’s time for bed.
Cheers,
Learning New..
*Before I start, for those who read the previous entry, I apologised for the sudden end as I was totally stuck facing my laptop.
The busy period has somehow lessen a little and it’s pretty smooth throughout the week. Due to National Day on Thursday, I’m sure many have enjoyed the long break and I made full use of the long break to have some good rest. Of course, at the same time, I’ve been learning some new stuff.
My good pal, Joyce asked me for tennis that day. Tennis is a sport which I always wanted to try and didn’t have the chance to. Given the opportunity, I agreed to play. I knew nothing about tennis, how to hit etc. Luckily, Joyce had attended tennis lessons and she taught me some of the basics. Struggled in the beginning but as time goes by, I got the hang of it and was enjoying myself on the court.
It’s not easy as it seems and needs a lot of practice. And I realise tennis is not about power, instead, it’s more of the technique. Whenever I watch tennis matches on the television, the speed of the ball seems so fast that I thought power is the main focal.
It’s a good experience and trying out something new is always nice. I guess I need to learn more and in this way, I would be a more all-rounded person.
Weather has been very warm these days. I do not know what really happen or why is the weather getting hotter each day. It’s the middle of the year and I guess it’s the hottest during these few months of the year. Sometimes, it get so unbearable with such heat especially you are doing sports.
I was playing football that day and the sun was shinning onto our bodies. It does have an huge impact on the players and our performance as well. It’s very important that we replenish by drinking lots of water and that day, I bought many bottles to dehydrate myself. I really wonder what if one day, all of us unable to take it and the world will just die of heat? It would be scary, isn’t it?
The football season has started and I’m sure many football fans would be going crazy again. I’m no exception. Will be following closely on the football news and of course, my beloved Liverpool. Oh yes, Gerrard scored a beauty last night!
There are new things to learn and new changes in life. I got to adapt to it fast and looking forward of what lies ahead in the upcoming months.
Cheers,
Interpretation?
My second stopover is coming to an end really soon, 1 more week to go before I say goodbye to TEP for my second year in polytechnic. BSU has been good to me and everything went smoothly throughout the weeks.
Classicals will be coming up next. 1 month of study, tests and presentations. Back to study life. Timetable is out, class list as well. I guess it wouldn’t be any problems with the new class after knowing quite a number in it.
Has not been active in the blogging world these few weeks. Fingers and mind have not been clicking with one another.
Share a photo I took that week with my cute secondary ones cadets!

oh man, my mind is not working.
troubled?
doubts?
uncertainty?
