Holidays Arrive..

Yes. 18 weeks of Tep and 4 weeks of classical, it’s all over, gone for now. It’s a memorable semester which I’ve learnt so much and made so many wonderful friends. Friends whom I won’t forget and those I know will be there for me when I need them. Of course, there’s always ups and downs, fortunately, there are more ups for me to remember and to look back smiling.

Classicals was not as fun as Tep for sure. 3 weeks of lessons and lastly, the projects which almost brought everything out of me. 2 projects – Project management and customer service. 2 challenging and interesting topics to work on. We had some hard times completing it and were pushed to the limit. Fortunately, my team-mates were all able to work together, complete it and lastly, presented to our lecturer.

Spent many days doing the project. Traveling, bringing of laptops, typing of reports. I guess I have to face more of this next semester.

I’m glad everything is over and it went pretty well in the end.

Holidays arrive, the first thing come in mind is to find work. Many jobs “lobang” in the beginning, sadly, it’s either cancelled, or filled up. Left a temp job next week for 3 days. Hopefully, it can be done, at least I have some income. Has struggling with money recently after shopping last weeks.

3 weeks will be quick. Definitely, I have catch it before it’s gone.

Just a quick entry.

I headed down to Queensway with good buddy, Jiahao on Monday and I was glad that it’s a fruitful trip. 45 minutes on the bus back and forth can be taxing for us but I guess both of us were pretty satisfied.

As usual, the main purpose of heading down is to check out the latest football jerseys pricing and knowing the fact that it would be less crowded over there. I’ve finally bought the Liverpool jersey that I wanted. European Kit 07/08. It costs me $99! Oh man! A huge and big hole in my pocket!

I also bought an adidas jersey for myself with Jiahao with our names and numbers printed on it. Come to realise, both shirts I bought were rather similar. This costs $25, quite a good deal.

I’ve enjoyed my “shopping” that day.

Today, the trip to Jurong Iceskating Palace was an enjoyable one. Alongside with Johnson, FanSheng, WanTing and Jeremy, it’s fun. Ice-skating sessions has always been full of laughter, falls, and comicals moments. This session was no exception. I’ve skated quite a number of times before and for first timers like the rest, they did a great job. Proud of them. I fell once though, thanks for WanTing and my chin was hurt. Still, I was smiling all along.

After iceskating, we spent quite some time at the arcade before heading to Woodlands for dinner. Cat joined us for arcade and I realised many of us were just crazy playing games in there.

Injured Calf..

Played football in the morning and got hurt during the process. I’ve always been injury-prone and it’s normal for me to get such injuries. However, this type was rather painful. My calf took a knock and it have been affecting me since. Hopefully, it would recover fast so that it will not affect my upcoming busy hectic week.

A week break for me. Project week i suppose. Have to submit 2 projects next week and it’s going to be challenging to myself and my teammates as well. It’s not going to be easy I guess. Nevertheless, a break is better than none. At least, have more sleep.

Sometimes, it’s really hard for people to appreciate of what you are doing. Putting effort and time into it doesn’t mean the rest will follow suit. It’s sad but a very true fact. I guess different people have different priorities and thoughts. Not all would have the same mindset and that’s probably the differences at times.

Problems seems to be always there and it’s like it would go on forever. When you got a solution, another problem arise or even the same problem recur again. Is there a problem which can’t be solved at all? But I do heard people saying that there’s no unsolvable problems. So which is right? It can be frustrating when solutions are being thought but the same old problems come back to you again. What shall I do?

It’s never easy to learn new stuff. It would definitely needs a lot of patience and time to learn everything from scratch. It can be disappointing and disheartening, however, when you got the skill of it, I believe the feeling and satisfaction would be good. I have to learn the slow and right way and hopefully, the final results would be fruitful.

Oh, it’s already 1am. I didn’t realise. It’s time to stop.

RolePlay..

Had our first roleplay test today and everyone was geared up for it. Seeing each group preparing for their own roleplay days before just shows how serious everyone of us was. It’s probably my first time doing such scenarios and performing it out.

It’s interesting but challenging at the same time. My group practiced many times and I was pretty confident of our play. Went into the room and there we go! Everything was smooth and there’s no much hiccups which is pleasant to know. Teacher didn’t comment much and I wonder whether is that a good indication. Nevertheless, it’s our best efforts and we felt good after everything.

Sometimes, the world can be confusing. Or I should say I’m confused myself. I do not know which step is the right one and I do held back at times. There are times whereby I’m wondering whether this is the correct move or I just went deeper into the grave.

Commitments come along with many factors. Sacrificing is one of them. There are so many things which I wish to do but sometimes, I have to sacrifice the thought. I’m beginning to feel helpless at times and the feeling of the disability to do or complete the things which you wishes to do isn’t that nice at all. There are many roads ahead of me, turning into different ways. I do not know which road would be the best for me. Am I able to u-turn after that?

I’m talking to my good friend of mine for many years and both of us do agree that life is tough. We have no other choices but to stick to it and do the best that we can. Of course, we mentioned about being happy of what you really are doing is also crucial. Luckily, I’m feeling pretty okay in school and enjoyed the company of my mates, of course, not my notes.

I need a break. I need a holiday. Somewhere away from Singapore. Just somewhere I can let my everything down and not worrying about anything. Everyday I have to think of what’s next and worry of what will happen. Yes, I’m probably complaining and moaning about everything around me. Darn! Maybe I have poor time management skills or I’m not calm enough to think of solutions.

I just hope that everything would be smooth and a little bit time for me to spend doing the stuff I wish to do. Is that too much to ask for?

September Comes..

Here comes September! Reminds me of the song, “Wake Me Up When September Ends” Didn’t have the time to really sit down and put my thoughts down till now.

Was back to Adss to see their teachers’ day celebration and it was not really impressive i suppose. Felt nothing much and saw many familiar faces though. Talked to several teachers and some of the juniors, finding out how they are now and how much they have grew since I’ve left. Still, it’s nice to go back to the packed school of mine which contained so much memories.

Celebrated my good friend, Jiahao’s Birthday last saturday. Went to AngMoKio’s K Lunch package and enjoyed the short session over there. Sang songs, eat the lunches provided(It tastes awful). Still, we enjoyed everyone’s company and singing.

We bought a ManUtd jacket for him and I’m pretty sure he’s pleased to have it! (I’m a Liverpool fan though, but it’s okay.)

I had a football match on Sunday morning back in my primary school, Sembawang Primary. It’s great to be back. It’s been many many years since I’ve played in that field and I didn’t expect to be able to back playing there. Maoists won 8-4 and I managed to score one despite missing many chances. It’s the same goalpost as I last scored for my primary school as well. The feeling was awesome even though the match was not very pleasant. Good game guys, keep it going!

Classical is pretty busy with many tests and roleplays. It’s interesting at the same time yet challenging. It’s rather hard to concentrate on the 3 hours in class and I can’t help dozing off or chat with friends. I guess it’s normal. It’s finishing very soon and holidays will be on the way for a month.

Weather has been very poor and I could feel that my body is falling sick. Trying to hang on, drinking lots of water. Don’t wish to get ill as I don’t have time to get sick. I don’t wish to have stack up the tasks upon me and I hope my immunity system would be strong enough to overcome all viruses.

A new month with many birthdays coming up. I guess pockets are already going deeper and deeper. It’s always the fact that I would save up during the weekdays and end up spending it during the weekends and the whole cycle goes again weekly. Looks like I have to discipline myself more.

Looking forward to many things and feeling excited as well. I hope it would be done and accomplished very soon.
