A Day’s Rest..

After a packed 5 day week, I got a Saturday free day rest finally, which also indicates why I can lay my fingers on the keyboard typing this entry. Let me think, the last few days were full of activities.

First of all, school. It’s starting to get more work as the weeks progresses. I’m adapting well, body as well as mindset. Definitely, more work which means more effort to be needed. With so many modules at hand, looks like I won’t not be having a easy time.

As National Education is one of the compulsory modules to be done, my group went down to the Civilian War Memorial located at the Raffles Place. We need to do a report on it and took several pictures over there.

Quite an interesting outing with new classmates and it’s good to be outside of school as well. Staying at lectures and tutorial rooms can bore and kill people.

As we were still around that area, we went down to town and I was at Borders. Saw Steven Gerrard’s Autobiography. I decided to buy it and read on one of the world’s best footballer’s life. Besides, he’s my Liverpool’s captain. I wanted to buy it some time back though. I’m still reading it, and it has already interests me to read further.

In our everyday life, people just come and go. Sadly for me, 2 important persons in my life has left for the better, which for that, I’m glad for them.

Firstly, Chavalit. My football team-mate in my football team. A very comical boy, never fails to make the group laughs. My center back of my team, strong-willed boy. He’s also a Liverpool fan. A good buddy to be with. It’s a loss to my team that he has to leave, and of course, a friend as well. Nevertheless, we will welcome him back anytime.

The next person would be my Principal of my secondary school, Mrs Lim. I was back to Adss yesterday. She has to leave the school after six years in charge since the school is born. A great principal who instills discipline into the school which is never easy doing into a new school. Looking at her leaving the school with all smiles and without her, I believe I maybe a different person now.

I was also back to see my cadets after a long absence. I’m happy to see them calling out for me, asking how I am etc. It’s something which you don’t get everyday. Watched their parade and was proud of them. I guess I wouldn’t have much time going back for their trainings, still, I would be back whenever I can.

A long and packed week finally ended and luckily, I got some time at home today. The busy schedule starts again from tomorrow though it’s Sunday. Looking forward to the end of the year, the year is coming to an end very soon.

I Ain’t Superman..

Just an quick update..

1. I’ve fallen sick. Seen the doctor, no MC, instead, I had many medicines.

2. Busy weekend has gone, luckily, it went pretty well.

3. Many things are coming at one go, looks like it’s really going to test my time management skills to the maximum.

4. Enjoyed the day at Hid’s place. Thanks for everything, *pantat*. She has a great family.

5. A new week coming up, new targets to be met.

6. England lost in the Rugby World Cup final, darn! I was supporting the English. Wanted to buy their jersey if they have won. Sadly, they didn’t.

7. I know I ain’t superman, it’s time for opportunity costs.

8. Last but not least, Take Care guys, weather seems weird.

It’s Just The Beginning..

School has just started for like only.. 3 days? Many things have already surfaced and as I’ve expected, it’s not as smooth as I want it to be or I should say, it’s going to be a tough semester for me.

Some are unexpected. Disagreements and differences are inevitable. I guess I’m not everyday lucky. Seems so political. I have my own way of doing things and mindset, however, I can compromise if things are done fairly. Of course, it’s definitely very difficult to compromise everybody.

It’s just like the beginning and I’m feeling so dead to wake up in the morning, going to school. Squeezing in the packed train every morning, have to pull and force myself out. Just thinking about it already turning me off.

Looks like I’m going to stop here. Wish me luck! A rough weekend coming.

I’m Nice?

Canterbury Soul has awarded me this award. The ‘Nice Matters’ award. It’s a great honor to be awarded this award especially from CS. My primary school teacher is still teaching at this very moment and I’m so glad that till today, he still remembers me. My football coach as well and this guy here writes very well. He’s a very nice guy and I truly believe he deserves this award. Before I forget, he’s also a Liverpool fan.

About myself being ‘nice‘, what do you think? (I’m expecting many comments on its way.) What does ‘nice‘ means? I believe there are many definitions of it. For me, being ‘nice‘ is pleasant, kind and of course sincerity. Do I have those qualities in me? I do not know. I’m only aware of my shortcomings which I wish to improve on. So what do you guys think? Let me know about it.

So who should I pass down this ‘Nice Matters’ award? Everyone I know around me is ‘nice‘ in their own unique way. It’s a ‘nice‘ award to get and I would like to award to every reader who is reading this now. It’s very ‘nice‘ of you to be reading my blog. Appreciate it.

Cold Shower..

Just had a cold shower in the cold night. Great feeling and it just energised me for at least the next few hours. Listening to the muttons on 987 as usual, chatting with the crazy friends of mine on msn.

Last week of holidays and timetable is out. A new semester is upcoming on its way. When I opened the new page of timetable, it seemed like telling me that it’s going to give me a hard time.

This is where I stopped typing last night, before I was distracted on something else. Haha.

I shall continue from here. The new timetable seems to be telling me that it’s going to be a difficult semester. Still, I have to accept it as it is. Whether it is good or bad, we have to go through it. I guess it’s just matter of time we are going to get used to it.

A new class. New classmates. New lecturers. What else is new? The rest would be the same. The same old notes, lectures halls, projects, tests and lastly, examinations. Darn, thinking of it already making me weak. What will I be when I’m facing it?

Stayed at home on Sunday and Monday, and I can’t afford to be at home again. Managed to pull myself up and met Jiahao at AMK Hub. Caught one of the funniest shows today. I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry. Starring Adam Saddler and Kevin James. 2 comedians.

It’s a nice show, with laughters from the first minute right to the end. I can’t help it but just laugh and laugh. I wouldn’t mind spending the money to watch such a show. Adam Saddler’s shows never fails to make me laugh it loud. The show is about 2 fireman living different lives and they are best partners. Shows the friendship between this 2 jokers and some rights of life. Enjoyable movie.

It’s good to be out once in a while and it’s even better enjoying a comedy. School’s starting soon, when things get busy, I’m afraid there aren’t much chances for such enjoyment.

I’m going to put up a music video everytime I’m posting an entry from now. Just some songs which I’m enjoying listening to now. This song is currently one of my favourites.

Holidays So Far..

It seems years that I last entered an entry over here. October has already arrived and the year is soon be coming to an end as well. I’m having my 3 weeks holidays at this very moment and I’m enjoying the break which I’ve waited for.

Of course, still being in Singapore is not something I’m looking forward to. It would be better if I can fly out of this stressful society and visit the world. Even if it’s nearby, I wouldn’t have mind. Nevertheless, a break is better than none.

Work for a temp job last week for 3 days. It is not the best job in the world, but for the sake of little income, I took it in my chin and completed. Together with friends, it wasn’t that bad in the end.

Weather has been pretty warm these few days and by just staying at home in my room, I could perspire. Sometimes, it’s nice to rain once in a while. However, it can cause so much inconvenience especially when you are out in the streets. A cosy weather being at home would be ideal.

Have been staying at home for the past like 4 days? No doubt, boredom does creep in. These are what I do when boredom came knocking on the door.

1. Surfing the net.
2. Exploring the blogging world.
3. Challenge myself in FM.
4. Listening to 987FM.
5. Watching movies on my laptop.

What else? Other than my norm of watching football. That’s a must anyway.
