Tight & Tough..
Time is short.
Load is doubled.
Notes are heavy,
brains are heavier.
Injured shin,
tighter muscles.
Days will fly,
it won’t be easy.
I’m still waiting,
will be waiting.
Hoping for the best,
pushing to the limits.
Cheers!
Family Chalet 23 – 25 Nov’07
I was at the other part of Singapore for the weekend, Aloha Loyang Chalet. As last Friday was a busy day, I didn’t have time to blog before I went. Packed my things and took a cab down. Being to so many chalets in Pasir Ris, it’s my first going to Aloha Loyang in which each chalet is like a bungalow. It’s huge!
It’s a nice place, quiet and so much space to accommodate the whole family. That’s a plus point. I’ve been looking forward for this chalet as I just wanted a rest, away from school and the world, at least for a while.
I was one of the first to reach as Mother was the one checking in for us. There isn’t much people around, probably due to the fact that it was still Friday’s afternoon. Many would have still be working at that time.
We didn’t waste much time as we settled down at our chalet for the next few days. Uncles came, aunts and grandparents came after. The children were overjoyed seeing such a big place for them to enjoy and play their hearts out.
The children were around the place. Some went for swimming, some went cycling. The adults were preparing for dinner while I was playing mahjong. Even so, I managed to take some pictures.
My cousin, Melissa. Cute girl whom we normally call her LiZhen.

Junior. The hyper-active dog of the family.

I have no idea when this picture was taken. I was inside, so I’m not the photographer.

We had steamboat for dinner and everyone was just enjoying the food together with the company of everyone. Jokes led to laughter and smiles, kids were having their own activities again. Birthdays were also celebrated on the same night.
It’s a nice cake. Love the chocolate.

The next day commences with the games section. My ever-enthusiastic Aunt was the organiser alongside with my cousin. They played some games which I guess the children enjoyed very much. There were prizes to be won as well. I was stuck at the mahjong table, otherwise, I would have joined in the fun. There were so many funny moments during the games while the whole family laughed it out loud.

The barbeque was next and there were tons of food. Besides the normal bbq stuff, there are lots more. It was well-cooked and smells really delicious. I was the one who started the fire and off I went to watch football at Downtown East. Along with Grandpa and Father, we were at the lounge over there, watching the Liverpool game. (We won 3-0.

The BBQ People. Credits to them!

The night ended on a high when everyone was around watching the video that was taken throughout the chalet. Everyone was laughing each other’s funny moments. I was one of the loudest though, Haha.
The 3 days 2 nights were tiring yet fun. Along with great family members around, you will never fail to laugh. There were some more pictures and activities which I didn’t include in this entry. (I have homework!) Nevertheless, it’s enjoyable and this short break was just nice and good enough for the whole family, especially for myself. I’m fortunate enough to have such a awesome gathering and I appreciate every single effort being put into by everyone. Thank you.
It’s a new week again, it’s time for hard work. Take care guys!

It’s a headache doing this, I really have no idea on where and how to start. Nevertheless, I’m going to do it.
1. I hate staying in the toilet for too long. I’ve never stayed in a toilet for more than 20 minutes even I had a painful stomachache. Just get over and done with.
2. Mosquitoes love me. Wherever I go, whenever there’s mosquitoes around, I’m the first to get “killed”.
3. I can text with both hands on my hand phone. I do not know how, but I just can.
4. I have the tenancy to eat my meals fast, too fast in which is rather unhealthy. Might cause indigestion at times. I just couldn’t help it.
5. I’m very particular about neatness. I just can’t stand messiness.
6. Whenever I’m at a basin, I would definitely washes my face and my hands.
7. Whenever I listens to my mp3, I always love to on it out loud till I can’t hear the surroundings. Yes, it’s harmful to my ears, but I don’t wish to get disturbed.

Huh? Stress What?
Work load increases as the weeks commences. It’s tough and tiring at times. I have to grind my way out on many occasions, sadly so. I’m really hoping for a break as soon as possible. Do not expect much, just don’t involve myself with any work. That thinking is kind of impossible though. I know I can’t escape, that’s why, I’m here venting.
Last Sunday’s football training was a fun and interesting one. For your info, football is the only thing I’m looking forward every week. We had passing in the beginning and I could sense the team was dull and lethargic. I decided to have some games with the guys and I’m pretty sure it left a positive impact on them. Quite an enjoyable session. I do hope it has bonded the players.
Unfortunately, I’ve been falling sick recently. I do not know why, though I know my immunity system is weak. It seems like in 1 or 2 months, I’m visiting the doctor. It’s a bad sign. School on Monday was okay, feeling unwell upon lying on bed. I thought it was just a mild one. The next morning, it was hell for me. I got a massive headache which almost bursts my brain cells. My limbs were weak and I couldn’t leave my bed.
I still went to school in the end, but had to go back after a lesson. I couldn’t concentrate further. I went to the nearest clinic from my place and I was taken aback by the doctor’s comments. I told him my uneasiness and all he did was to check. Questioned irrelevant questions which I couldn’t answer. He said: “Are you stress?” I was like “huh? stress what?” I guess he’s probably thinking I went to see him to buy a MC. Come on, buy a MC at a cost of $25? I do not know what’s wrong with him and he only gave me headache and giddiness medicine.
I do not think I will ever visit him again. I do not mind traveling more. Of course, touch wood*! I wouldn’t wish to make a trip to the clinics again. Still, the medicine did help and I was able to go to school this morning. Although I’m not 100% recover, still, I’m feeling much better now. The fact I’m typing this entry tells it all.
There are many deadlines to be met. Projects, tests are all coming at one shot, right into my face. Looks like every entry, I’m venting over work. Maybe the doctor is right? Haha! I’m stressed? I hope not.
There are some things in life which cannot be back to the same again, I realised a few days back. Somethings has changed and even though how hard you’ve tried or hope for, the change has already been done. What is left is only memories. People always tell us, move on with life, no point living in the past. However, it’s easier said than done. There are certain things which you just can’t just let go and it’s difficult to forget. Don’t you agree?
I miss you, you know?

Sore Throat Is Back..
I’ve been busy throughout the weeks. The workload in school is increasing each day, that’s plays a part in my lack of updates over here. Prioritse is very essential tool. Though there are times when distractions do come in and pay me a visit, I have to weight the importance of each task on hand. Sometimes, it’s really hard to stay focus and mind would stray to some land elsewhere. I have to admit, I do wander in my own world.
Sadly, these few days, my throat didn’t really recover fully from the previous illness. It went from slight uncomfort to sore now i guess. Had medicine just now and I hope it would help. I don’t wish to visit the doctor again. It’s very troublesome to take up time when you have so many things to do. Drinking as much water as I can right now.
Luckily, this coming Thursday is a public holiday. A day for me to rest and recharge the batteries. It would be better if it’s on Friday though. Nevertheless, it’s better than none. Weeks are flying in and out, it’s going to be the end of 2007 pretty soon.
It’s going to be 12 very soon. It’s time for bed. (Watching football later,
)
