MC For 2 Days!

Fallen sick like again? Woke up one morning feeling that body was totally in bad shape. Still went to work, but returned in the afternoon. Supervisors are really nice and allowed me to go back. Seen a doctor and there I was knocked out by the heavy medicine. Every time I wake up after it, my head was like so tired.

Going back to work tomorrow! Work is piling up..

Cheers!

Post Birthday Update..

Birthday was on last Monday, 18 February. Oh yes, time flies and I’m already 19. The last year whereby my age starts with a 1 in front. It will be a 2 next year. Well, I’m a lucky boy with so many wonderful family and friends. You guys made my 19th birthday a memorable one in any way. A simple test message would be good enough.

On the 18th, we went to a Korean restaurant at Mosque Street, Chinatown. The food is not too bad as I do like Korean food. Some were having attachment and thanks to them, they took time out to celebrate with me.

Let the pictures do the talking..

We are ordering food..

The Birthday Cake. Strawberry Ice-Cream.

Yes, myself, the Birthday boy.

Group Photo!

It was really simple and nice. The company of everyone sitting around for a dinner is definitely pleasing for all.

Thanks for your wishes, messages, treats, presents from all of you guys. You know who you are. Appreciate it.

Took this photo with my sister! Same EverLast Shirt!

The week starts again..

Cheers!

Taiwan Trip – Valentine?

Yes, I’m late. Was so busy this week that I was too tired to stay on the computer for long. Finally, today, I had some energy left to write about my Taiwan Trip. Oh yes, before I forget, I spent my Valentine’s Day playing Mahjong! Haha!

Taiwan trip was a nice break for me and I did enjoy the 5 days over there. Although it may seemed short, I guess it’s just nice and the weather is cold over there. (which I like!) I can’t be possibly writing about every single day over there, I guess people reading it would be bored! I would probably upload several photos (specially chosen) and share with you guys!

My Sister and Myself on the plane

This is the first place we visited when we reached Taiwan. It was really cold and I was enduring while taking the photo.

This is taken at a Temple over there. Beautiful isn’t it ?

Houses over there!

This was taken in the middle of the road. Showing the night market and the streets. Kind of blur though.

Taken in a Tomatoes and Strawberries Farm

Nice Greenery!

Taipei 101! I was at at this level! World’s highest building! The lift was like 37 seconds from below! World’s fastest lift as well! Say WAA!

One of the guards at Taiwan. These guys are Army Boys!

The streets there in the morning. Took it from the hotel.

Took this in some place which I don’t remember where! Hahaha! It was raining then.

The huge wheel! It’s gorgeous at night!

Inside it!

Outside it!

The night market, along the street.

Last day at the shops!

Our Tour Bus

Well, these are just some photos I took over there. There are plenty more. I took a long time uploading these few, let alone everything. Not a bad place for a holiday. I know I’m fortunate enough to go on a holiday and it’s something I will remember for the rest of my life.

Sorry for the sub-standard photos. Many factors affecting it. The weather was really cold, we aren’t professional photographers and lastly, our camera was not the best around. Still, it’s not that bad after all. :)

*Birthday photos coming up. Thanks guys!

Cheers!

Post Break Effect..

Ever since I came back from Taiwan last Sunday, the week has been very packed. As many would have know, attachment starts straightaway since Monday and I didn’t have enough rest so far. The timing from 9am – 6pm is something which I really would need to adapt to. Normal working hours like this are not easy due to the fact that our mentality and body ain’t used to such working conditions. As such, I’ve been feeling exhausted everyday.

Fortunately, attachment is pretty smooth. It’s still manageable for me. (This is only the first week, there might be more work for the following weeks) 11 weeks of attachment, I do hope it will go past quickly and I will be able to absorb as much knowledge, skills and experience as my ability can take.

Chinese New Year at Taiwan and I didn’t really feel the CNY mood this year. Over there, we are busy visiting places, eating the good food and keeping ourselves warm from the cold weather. Therefore, there isn’t much CNY festive mood around except for the firecrackers which were allowed over at Taiwan. By the time I came back, Singaporeans here were already back to work, going to school, back to the normal lifestyle.

Hongbaos are definitely lesser but that’s not the main point. The point is = I didn’t get to gamble. Haha! Poker, blackjack and my favourite, Mahjong. I didn’t get to lay my hands on the cards and tiles. I sounds like a desperate gambler, am I? But not to worry, I’m not. Just miss the fact of visiting and having fun. It’s alrights, there’s always a next year. Of course, Taiwan trip is a much better experience than staying in Singapore gambling. Opportunity costs as always.

Due to attachment, I only left with weekends which I can really do the stuff I enjoyed. With only 2 days in hand, I’ve to plan properly and make sure that everyday is well spent and not wasted.

I miss football. Watching and playing it.

I miss my NPCC mates and cadets. I can’t see them for quite some time, hope that they will be fine.

I miss BN. Oh my, when are we going out together?

I miss my Maoists mates. They would definitely beat me up when they see me! Hahaha!

and for the first time in history,
I miss school. The difference of school and work explains it all.

I do hope I can catch up with all of you very soon although I have only 2 days left every week. I guess that’s part of the working society and world.

I will update my Taiwan trip very soon.

 Cheers!

Back From Taiwan!

Yes, back from the 5 days holiday in Taiwan. I didn’t have much time to write about the trip as once I came back to Singapore, the next day, my attachment starts. It was a good break after all though it’s during Chinese New Year.

Attachment has been pretty smooth, trying my best to adapt and learn as much things as possible. It’s 9am – 6pm everyday except weekends, so I will try to update as much as I can. Glad to be back home in some ways, Singapore is after all my place where I belonged to.

Alrights, I will write more soon, probably a few days time.

Cheers!

Happy Chinese New Year!

Happy Chinese New Year!

Exams are over and I will be away to Taiwan for a short holiday till the 10th. Enjoy your holidays my fellow mates! Take care!

*Smiles*

Cheers!

GOLD UNIT!

Click for larger image.

I don’t care if I’m showing off or not, but I’m still going to enjoy this very sweet moment. It’s the first time in history Admiralty Secondary School NPCC unit gets the GOLD award in 2007. Well done guys!

It’s always been what I’ve wanted all along, working hard in every aspects just to achieve this very special award. People out there might think, it’s just a Gold, many schools has achieved that so many times already. However, for a new school like Admiralty Sec, and being the pioneer batch of the school, I guess it meant a lot to all of us. Personally, it’s a great achievement for the whole NPCC family and I shall enjoy it!

To my Beloved Cadets.
You guys have really made me real proud of being your instructor. I’m so so proud of you all. Thanks for everything.

To my fellow instructors.
Yes! We’ve made it and reached our target. Let’s continue to strive harder for the unit! :)

We got to work hard all together and maintain the standards, shall we?

Cheers!
