Henry Jones?

There was no school on Friday and I think I wasted the day. Don’t remember what I did 2 days back. Well, the subsequent days were better. Went swimming with Jh and the sun was really burning. It felt really good in the waters and every time I swam, it’s so satisfying. Face was red hot after that.

I watched the movie Indiana Jones at night with family. Not a bad movie. Movies at night is relaxing and our seats were good.

Pretty exciting and a little sense of humor once in a while. Harrison Ford’s 4th Indiana Jones movie after so many years. Can see that he’s getting old, jumping up and down around the world. It’s not easy on him.

Football this morning was even HOTTER. The temperature seemed to be going high and higher. I was burnt almost everywhere. With such conditions, it’s really difficult to play at a high tempo. Enjoyed my game though. My face and body are burning still even after several hours later. Looks like I need more days to recover.

Bought my new boots! Finally! ADIDAS PREDATOR! It’s “chio”, I know.

Miss BN class so much. Year 1 days..

Long Weekend = Boring?

Many of us would have been waiting for this long weekend. Especially for those who do not have school or even work on Friday, 4 days of straight holidays is something not easy to come by. Well, sometimes, long weekends can turn out to be boring as well. Especially when there is no activities or things to do. How I wish I can go on a holiday..

Fortunately, I managed to wake myself up this morning went to play some football in the morning. It was so hot that I could feel my feet burning when I was running. Despite fighting for the ball at 12pm noon, it’s good work out for me and my face is kind of burned out now.

Has been reading the news more often. Be it on television or newspaper, I guess everyone knows about the earthquake in China and cyclone in Myanmar. I wanted to search for pictures to post it up, but after a second thought, I don’t think I would like to. It’s a very sad thing and every time I read the news, I always remind myself that I’m very lucky to be living right here, using the computer, without worrying what’s tomorrow’s life will be.

I do not know in what way I can help. Donating money is probably one of the ways. But I do know that no matter how much money the victims receive, it will never replace the pain they suffered during this whole disaster and the loved ones lost. I received a MSN message last night, telling me to put a RAINBOW sign in front of our MSN nick. Every RAINBOW will donate 20 cents to the victims in China. The first thing came to my mind was “It’s real?” But after a second or two, I just put the RAINBOW. Because I know it’s no harm doing it and I do hope that it’s real and it helps them. Spreading the message is what I did next. However, sadly, not everyone does it. Maybe they don’t believe that RAINBOW, maybe they have already done their part, or maybe they just simply don’t care.

It’s Vesak Day tomorrow. I’ve not really decided of what to do. Opportunity costs again. Enjoy your public holiday people!

Guest of Honor – Liyana

haha guess im next in Louis’ list of GOH writers.. so honoured !!

Louis is someone special coz he really is like a brother to me.. I have known him since secondary one in Admiralty Secondary School. From Sec 1 til sec 4 we have been classmates HoW fated hahaha!

and we were both also very involved in our CCA, which is NPCC. We were the pioneering batch of NCOs (Non-Commissioned Officers) in ADSS and therefore we had to go through thick and thin together with the rest of our batchmates.. it was not always easy but with him and the rest of them around to motivate each other, we all grew closer…they were like a second family to me.. how i missed those days!

after we graduate, alot of us went our separate ways but not the two of us.. hehe we actually carried on and attended the CIBTC December 2005 batch, on our way to be CIs. It was a very demanding and physically challenging course but he never failed to push me to hang on when i felt like giving up.. He is self-motivated and has the drive to pursue what he wants..That’s Louis for u and if he likes a girl, he will go all out for it too ;P

We both shared the same goal for our NPCC unit..which is for it to attain GOLD for the Unit Overall Proficiency Award, in which every unit will be assessed on their achievements for the whole year to see where we stand on the national standard..

every year, we were able to see alot of improvements in our unit.. in 2005, we got Bronze..in 2006, we got Silver and in 2007, we got GOLD!!! What a great feeling it was!!
We mutually agreed we can step down as CIs in peace HAHA

All in all, Louis is someone whom i regard close to heart ..I can rely on him to cry out my sorrows and share my troubles with him.. he’ll always be there for me.. And since i have him, I can actually forget about finding a boyfriend coz he’s like one to me !!  hehehehe :P ( to girls out there, I’m not being serious here, so dun werri..he’s still very much available :P:P )

So Louis, it is really an honour to know you and it is a much bigger honour to have you as a close pal of mine

Movie After School’s Nice..

School’s normally better after the first 2 days and the other 3 days would be much better to handle and learn at the same time. Surprisely, it rained this morning and it carried on heavily till lesson ended. Wednesdays ends at noon and I didn’t want to go back too early. Head down to The Cathay to catch a movie. Alongside with nice XJ, we managed to escape from the rain and got our tickets on time.

I’ve watched their first movie together and it was one of the best comedies I’ve seen. This one was equally hilarious and crazy. With their adventure on their road, XJ and I was laughing out loud (LOL) all the way.

It feels great going away from school and watch a comedy. Laughing out loud is always satisfying!

Yesterday was Mother’s Day! Places were crowded almost everywhere. Fortunately, we managed to get to eat at Orchid Country Club. Food was awesome. Well, it’s just another ordinary day for families to gather. Filial piety is not a one day thing, it’s a virtue in yourself.

School has not been very smooth. I miss my attachment place and people, really wondering how they are now. Just can’t wait to finish everything. Yawns, it’s going to be 12 soon. Bedtime!

I took damn long to write this, ‘cause knowing Louis cannot be described in words.
Before I even know this awesome dude, I’ve heard testimonies of him being the Mahjong God. When his fat best friend (Jiahao) invited me to play at Loo’s place one day, I was really terrified. Ask them, they’ll remember how quiet and scared I was. HAHAHA.

Anyhoo, he really lived up to his name and proved to me that he’s a true sport even when he loses.

Our mahjong sessions became really frequent and we became partners in crime! HAHA. We would gang up to insult our favourite Fatty and take turns to win. Those times were priceless and totally something I always look forward to! Now that he’s busy, our meetings are less, but we do make it a point to talk to each other though (:

OH! I remembered him as a BIG-MOLE (Da Zhi) dude. Loo’s totally awesome, because he aspires to be a policeman in future. I love his selfless character and protective nature. HEE. (: I’m so going to hope he does become one, so I can buy pirated VCDs and he will close 2 eyes.

Anyhoo, I’m so glad that this partner of mine entered my life. Oh yeah, I miss you. Let’s meet up soon! WHEE (:
