World Class Football!

Monday was a day I look forward to even though it’s the start of a new but busy week. It was because I managed to get the tickets to watch the Brazil Olympic Team against the Singapore Select. Thanks to Cyrill who bought the tickets, I was excited to watch a game of world class football in which top footballers will be coming to Singapore to play.

Together with Cyrill and Mao, we headed down to the National Stadium by public transport! MRT! The crowd was coming and we took big and fast steps into the Kallang Stadium, probably due to our excitement going to watch the match. We managed to get good seats and were facing the middle of the field.

The evening was coming, the stadium was getting packed while we waited patiently for the players to be on the pitch.

The Ticket!

Shots of National Stadium (Not the best quality though)

Cheers and clapping was for the Brazil who came out and everyone was excited to watch the football. I was really happy to see the likes of Lucas, Anderson, Diego, Pato and Ronaldinho LIVE on the pitch! LIVE! Believe it!

KICK OFF!

The football was world class, individual and team play was awesome! I was really “jaw-dropped” by the way they played. Simply top class and I was enjoying every single minute of it. $60 was well-spent and the Kallang roar was around too. (At least for 3 rounds) The final score was 3-0 to Brazil and I was smiling on my way out. It was told to be the last match at the stadium. (Will it really be the last?)

Goals of the Game

It’s really an eye-opener and I do hope to see more teams coming down to Singapore, showing their true skills and qualities on football.

Back to Earth..

Projects are more or less done. Left a few more presentations to go. Sometimes, I do feel that projects can really test one’s character and determination to the maximum, and it also showed the difference between the better ones. Projects are tough, but I told myself to keep it going as long my body could take me and fortunately, we did okay, but of course, there are definitely rooms of improvement. 2 more to go! COME ON!

Taken when all of us didn’t sleep the whole night!

Exams are on the way and it’s going to be a tough period for me. Gotta go into my notes pretty soon. :)

Take care people!

Cheers!

Recover Fast!

It was so fast that I didn’t really realise it.
It’s painful, I know.

Take good care,
recover fast.
I want to see you back.

Cheers!

Injured Leg, Projects and Tests?!

How’s life people? Mine is pretty fulfilling, full of activities each day. Few ways to look at it. One, I can’t even rest and there are too many things to do. Two, everyday is a challenge which we need to overcome and be stronger after that. Well, I would always try my best to be optimistic and do everything in my stride.

For many of us, projects and tests are all at the back of my minds everyday. It’s hard not to ignore it, in fact. Being busy as usual during weekdays, it’s good to have a break and do some other things during the weekend.

Visited my ex-OC on Saturday. She has just given birth to a baby girl. 2 daughters and I can see that she’s enjoying being a mother. Really happy life, she’s living. Perfect example and role model for all of us to look up to. :)

The Pretty Elder Daughter!

Here’s Myself with her! Melted me!

That’s the newborn child! She looks cute uh!

The 5 Ladies and 1 Lucky Boy! Haha!

It’s so nice to see her again and she’s ever so fine makes me feel even better. Take care, Miss Yeo! You’ve been a great OC and now a role model for all of us.

Sunday’s football game was one to forget. Difficult conditions and factors before and after the game. Quite a good experience for all of us though. Still, we took some photos in the dressing room. Quite fun to see guys taking their cameras, shooting photos away.

That’s mine! 18!

Different angles of our jerseys!

Well, all these photo-taking were before the game. During the game, I was tackled hard down and my leg suffered a painful injury which caused me limping everyday now.

Not very pleasant pictures, look at your own risk. Haha!

That’s how it looks when it’s first injured

1 day later..

Bandaged! Thanks to Mum!

Precisely, at this moment, I’m having difficulties walking and climbing stairs. Nevertheless, I’m determined to recover it and play football again. Thanks my friends for their concern. It’s really nice to see people around you caring for you. :)

Take care people! :) Good nights!

Cheers!

Up To The Brink..

As I mentioned before, July is a killer month and it has indeed proved to me that I’m right. Projects are somethings at the back of our minds every single day. Looking at my calendar each day, see all the deadlines every week, I always tell myself to be strong and plan my time well. But somehow, at times, things will NEVER go as planned. Additional factors will come into play and this really affects whatever being planned beforehand.

Napfa Test was last Friday and it has been quite a wait. Was trying my very best in every stations. Some exceeded my expectations, some were below-par. Nothing is last minute, even for fitness. You need to train hard consistently throughout for a long period of time in order to see results. Likewise for studies or any other things you do. I didn’t really train up for test though, but did some lights weights and running during the weeks. Results weren’t that bad after all. A Silver Award.

Times are busy but I strongly believe in time management. Other than projects and work in school, I did took out sometime out to do the things I enjoy. Back to NPCC unit, back on the football pitch and going out for a movie with friends once in a while.

My Project Mates for GSCM!

My fellow CIs!

Maoists! :)

I count myself very lucky and fortunate to have many great friends around me. All are special in their own way and whenever I’m given time, I will try my best to meet up, share each’s experiences, crack jokes etc.

Managed to watch several nice movies these weeks. Movies is a must for me, I guess.

It’s been a while since I’ve updated. It’s always been the case of having the feel of typing those words, but the body was just too tired to stay on. Thanks for staying tuned, people! :)

July will continue and August soon after, it’s going to be exams very soon. Good luck!

Cheers!

Concentration..

Crucial period of the month.

Projects are packing each day.

Internet was screwed today and I realised it’s so difficult to do work without it.

I’m so tired now, but I’m not in bed.

It’s morning lesson again and it’s like the 123456789 times of the week that I lost count.

Chin up, Louis.

It’s time for battle.

I need to win it.
