Singapore FLYERR!

It’s been more than a week since I last posted something down here. Even during my holidays, it’s hard to convince myself to sit down and update this blog of mine. Well, holidays are pretty shiok boring to me. Time are mostly spent at home and somtimes out with families or friends.

Many have asked me to work part-time and look for a job since I so “free”. But somehow, for this holiday, I guess I just want to rest and relax. During studying semester, I’ve been drained out for projects and exams. Holidays is probably the best medicine for it and I don’t wish to tire myself of working. It seems no difference from school.  Of course, money wise, it would be slightly tighter than before. Control spending for me. Gotta endure when I see things which I want to buy. :)

I went to Singapore flyer with my family last Sunday. It has been operating for some time and it’s time to make a trip down. Tickets of $29.50 each booked online. I’v been to Taiwan’s flyer recently and I’m looking forward to see how this magnicficient structure works in our very own country.

Here We Go!

The cabin is pretty big. So much space for you to walk about. Viewing the nice sceneries of Singapore.

Taken inside the cabin itself! It’s pretty stable and safe.

If you see carefully, that’s the F1 track below me! :P

This was taken at a park just below the flyer. Water Droplets!

Quite a fantastic structure!

People out there, given the chance, make a trip down!

Cheers!

Results Are Out!

Results was out the day before. Waited till for the website to be “less crashed” and managed to log in at around 1 plus in the morning. Heart was pounding damn fast as I know this sem’s results are very important.

Fortunately, this time, like finally. I managed to get past all. “Phew, a sigh of so much relief.” I was feeling pretty good in the beginning, but after which, I told myself, that’s the least I should at least achieved. Definitely, it’s a weight off my shoulders. :)

Congrats to those who did well! KEEP IT UP! For those who didn’t do that well, do remember that life do gives you a second chance. Chin up!

Cheers!

AVRILLLLLLLLLLLL!

7 September was a day to remember! My first time attending a concert in Singapore Indoor Stadium. Credits to Nigel, he went to book the tickets for Avril Lavigne Concert! Alongside with him and Minghao, we were all very excited to see Avril performing for her Best Damn Thing Tour!

Tickets!

Shirts of Avril Sales outside the entrance

There were light sticks and lanyard given! Darn nice!

Taken before entering!

We waited quite a while and we just entertained ourselves in trying out other seats! Haha! That’s Nigel’s idea! Oops! At the same time, I wonder, why there were so many “hot” girls around the indoor stadium. So while waiting, we couldn’t help but kept looking around! :P

We are bored, so yeah! *Snap!

Nigel & Myself

Nigel & Minghao!

3 of us!

After like waited for 1 hour or so, the concert finally started! When she came out, I was like “WOW! That’s Avril live!

There she is!! :)

The whole concert was like 80 or 90 minutes, not too long and not too short. Nevertheless, to me, it’s a fantastic performance and Avril is indeed a great performer. That’s probably explains why she’s so recognised in the music world! With friends like Nigel and Minghao, it’s nice to just sing and shout her songs and swing the light sticks around!!

Taken before we set home!

I’m very fortunate enough to be able to see Avril Live and attended a concert like this. It’s not a everyday chance but I must always remind myself to appreciate the things I have. :)

I’m the best damn thing that your eyes have ever seen!

Cheers!

iPhone In The Bag!

As the title mentions, I got the iPhone! Coool stuff! Well, I guess it’s just in-thing phone which everyone’s talking, commenting or even criticising it. I’ve been exploring it slowly and discover the functions in the phone. It’s holidays, I got the time. Haha! It’s like the itouch but I guess abit thicker and of course, it can be used as a phone.

I heard many negative aspects of the phone around me but somehow, so far so good for me. *TOUCH WOOD!* I’m still unsure of many of its capabilties and I do hope that this phone will serve me well. It better be!

Holidays have been pretty stagnant. Spending more of my time at home, either on the net or television. It might get too boring at times too. Looks like I have to find more activities to do during holidays.

Some pictures taken by my cadets when I was playing some games with them some time back. Well, they are much more faster and fitter than me! I was panting most of the time!

This is a good shot! :)

Just a short entry today. Up next, Avril Lavigne Concert!

Cheers!

HongKong Trip 2008

As many of you have known, I was away on a trip to Hong Kong along with the school. A study tour and a short break for all of us. I’ve enjoyed myself there and though the weather was hot, the idea of going out with friends in a foreign land is something you won’t be able to do or enjoy everyday.

Enough of all these bullshits, it’s time for me to show you some pictures. Well, it will be a long post, but there aren’t much pictures either. Guys are still guys, can’t possibly snap everything we see on the streets. (No offence!) Nevertheless, I’ve chosen some of the better pictures! :)

First Photo taken in Hong Kong International Airport

The first day was a half day City Tour. Well, I had air sickness so after the flight, I was still wobbling around. I did try my best to enjoy myself and the sceneries.

Huge Bridge!

HK Buildings are similar to Singapore’s

The 3 buddies of mine! Cyrill, Chit, JunQin

On this side of the ground, there are many famous people’s names and their hand prints on it. Well, there were some whom I have no idea who they are.

John Woo!

Aaron Kwok

Chow Yun Fat

Jackie Chan

Bruce Lee

Andy Lau

Guess who I took on?

After which, we decided to make a trip to the Wax Museum. It was a great decision, we had so much fun taking pictures! Hahaha! Some are indeed real!

Michelle Yeoh!

Aaron Kwok

Eddie Murphy!

HITLER!!

I’m the US President?

Albert Einstein?

The Hot Couple! Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt!

Harrison Ford! Indiana Jones!

David Beckham

Ronaldinho

Tiger Woods

The Beattles!

The night scenery in HK is fantastic and sadly, we didn’t have much time to walk more. Managed to get a few pictures.

This is the street we went shopping! It’s crazy, much more than our very own Orchard Road! My legs were indeed tired after walking, seriously.

Me and Cyrill at the MONG KOK Station, the place where we shopped!

One of the companies we visited was DHL. It’s a fantastic airport and hub for cargo movement. We got a great view on the area where planes fly in and out.

The planes are just behind me!

One of their Mottos!

The Food we ate! There are more food we ate, just that we forgotten to take a picture. Was too hungry then!

4 of us were concentrating!

A photo with the Hong Kong students there

The Station where our hotel is!

The MTR  (Very much similar to ours here)

The last few days or so, we didn’t bother to take pictures. Probably we are tired of smiling and snapping. Mostly are taken during the first few days when everyone was still energetic!

Took some photos in our small and tiny hotel room!

That’s my bed!

That’s my bunkmate! Haa! (Don’t kill me for this, my blog don’t have much visitors! Don’t worry!)

Some views from our hotel!

Along with the Year 2s

The last photo we took at HK together!

Going HOME!

Home Sweet Home!

The 4 days spent was a good experience. Walking down the street in the middle of the night, looking at our maps (All thanks to Chit!), finding our way to destinations. Breakfast was Dim Sum, which was WORLD CLASS! Spending time with my joker friends, taking photos, all falling sick on the last day were indeed fun and memories to be kept.

I’m sure your eyes are tired of the photos! Thanks for scrolling all the way down here! :P Make a trip down to Hong Kong given the chance!

Cheers!

HOME! HOLIDAYS!

Yes, I’m late with my posts. Was back in Singapore from my short trip to HongKong last Wednesday. However, I’ve been feeling not too good since coming back. Probably due to the bad weather and climate change between 2 countries, I’ve fallen ill for 2 days.

Many activities around are happening at such a short span of time, back to back, till I lost count on when and where it happened. Wanted to blog about those stuff, but I was busy lazy. Well,

it’s HOLIDAYS!

Let me recall..

Exams ended on the 21st! (Now it’s time to pray real hard!) On the 22nd, I went a short hiking trip with my NPCC unit. The whole unit went down together and it was pretty fun! The cadets were enjoying themselves and when the heavy downpour came, I guess they loved it even more!

It’s actually a short journey, but some of them were complaining of their tired legs!

When the rain all came at one go, we took shelter on a small hut! ALL OF US!

I think I cracked a lame joke?

Took some photos with them!

Look at how drenched we were!

All of us were freezing in the bus and I caught a cold, I still remember. Good experience for all of them especially the younger ones. It’s good to have such trips, showing that it’s not only about training week in week out. :P

On the 29th, I went to Changi Airport again. 3rd time in a week. It’s kind of a record! Flew off on Sunday, back on Wednesday and last on Friday. This time, it’s at Terminal 3. It’s a beauty, no wonder it’s number 1 in the world.

Together with my family, I went to send off 3 of my good friends who are flying off to Korea for half a semester on a Overseas Exchange Programme. It seems so many people are going overseas at one go and I felt excited for them. Korea is a nice country and it snows!

Cindy, Sister and Myself

Plus Xiaoen this time

Clara! I believe she knows how to speak Korean! No problems over there!

I’m sure it would be a great experience over there, learning the language and culture. Take care my friends!

On the 30th, it’s Siemens 100th Anniversary Family Day! I was given tickets and alongside with Minghao, Dinah and Jiahao, we headed to Sentosa in the afternoon. It’s been sometime since I headed to the beach. It was packed and children were having fun everywhere.

It feels good to see all of them again, in fact, very happy. Had fun in beach football, made new friends and though it was raining, I could feel the fun, warmness from friends and families over there.

Dinah took this photo! 4 feets! Guess who’s who?

This is my beach football team! I’m the youngest there!

I had a great time, thank you Siemens and friends!

Now it’s holidays and it would be quite a long break for me. I’ve no plans yet. Probably still recharging my batteries at home and enjoy myself as much as I can. It’s time to catch up with friends, watch some movies and play football! :)

Hong Kong Trip is coming up..

Cheers!
